Hi folks -

An update to the 4th Generation Tablo app for Roku is now available. This is a hotfix for a crash happening on a subset of newer smart TVs.

You should see the update shortly, but if you’d like to get it right away, navigate to the Tablo app on your Roku device’s home screen and hit the star button (*) on your Roku remote. Then select ‘Check for Updates’.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Fix for issue affecting a small subset of newer smart TVs where accessing the Live TV screen could cause a crash

Thanks. Does this affect a specific brand or brands?..or…are there any brands that aren’t affected?

EDIT: There are 10+ brands of Roku TV’s out there, according to CCN.

It affected newer ONN Roku TVs.
