My Tablo Quad has stopped working. When I apply power the blue flash’s for hours then stops and is solid blue. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you’re referring to the original Tablo quad 4-tuner, It probably is dead. Mine died after received an update a year ago. That’s how I ended up purchasing a Tablo 4 Gen. unfortunately, the new owners of TabloTV do not seem interested in maintaining the old devices.
I had something similar happen a while ago with my now 9 1/2 year old 2 tuner. Suddenly It was not recording scheduled shows. Eventually I went down to the basement to check on it and the blue light was flashing. Tried restarting it several times and would still get the flashing light. Tried restarting the router, no help. On the outside chance it was something with the Ethernet cable connecting it to an 8 port switch I swapped it for a different one in a different port on the switch. Instantly the blue light went steady and I could hear the hard drive spin up. It was back in business. So what was happening was, it could not connect to the internet for some reason and swapping the cable fixed what ever was wrong. Or maybe it just took disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to kick it in gear. Not sure.
