I’ve always wondered why you can’t link your phone and use your antenna channels anywhere. My Cable Company allows it, but I read that it had something to do with the PVR aspect. I’m willing to forgo the PVR part if it allows us to use our Tablo on the road. I feel the same way about ATSC 3.0 signals and being able to use those higher-powered channels, forgoing the PVR to get it done.

You can view OTA on your phone remotely using Channels DVR and a properly formatted server. But the technical requirements of that setup are beyond most Tablo users.
If you are capable of setting up a VPN to your home network (on your router), your mobile devices can connect to your Tablo when you are on the road. This will allow you to watch anywhere. However, be aware there are some nuances with certain VPNs allowing access to your LAN.
I do have my Tablo running through my VPN in Canada. I’m not sure how to link it via my phone. It too has a VPN unit.
