I installed the Tablo last week and ever since then I can get it to work while the TV is on but then it doesn’t work the following day. I rebooted it, bought a wifi extender and re positioned the antenna. It works on my phone just fine but not my Fire TV. I will be returning.
It almost sounds like you have put the Tablo on your private cell phones Wi-Fi network instead of on your home Wi-Fi network.

Try rebooting your android or fireTV device. Also, be sure to fully exit the TabloTV app when you’re done with it. There is an issue with it disconnecting and not reconnecting from your device’s sleep mode.
To ensure you’re exiting the TabloTV app properly, press the back button repeatedly until it asks if you’re sure you’d like to exit the app.
If you’re already past this point and having issues, go into your app’s settings and force stop the app, and clear the cache and/or data (the TabloTV doesn’t store any notable data and erasing this can often clear up issues).

Good call, 269587. I wish I had thought of that. As a long-time Roku user, I stumbled across this when I got an onn device (which is also Android-base). It is a little clumsy to click ‘exit’ repeatedly and then confirm that you actually want to exit, but it make a big difference the next time you try to connect. On my Roku devices, I just click ‘Home’ and have not troubles.

I can confirm. Make sure, regardless of device, to exit/close the app after you are finished. Do not let the app(or device) go into sleep mode while open. 9 times out of 10, the Tablo app will fail to connect to the Tablo hardware
