Tablo LG webOS and Samsung TIZEN App (4th Gen) Update (v. 1. 7.4)

Hi folks -

An update for the 4th Generation Tablo app for LG webOS and Samsung TIZEN smart TVs is now available.

This corrects an issue where the app would reload frequently, causing interrupted navigation and/or playback when running firmware 2.2.57+.

Here’s what you can expect:

Tablo App for LG webOS and Samsung TIZEN Smart TVs (4th Gen) Update – (v. 1.7.4)

  • Fix for frequent reloading issue causing interrupted navigation/playback

With this update, users running firmware 2.2.57+ should no longer need to use this workaround to access their Tablo via the 4th Gen apps for LG webOS and Samsung TIZEN smart TVs.

As always, if you have any questions or encounter problems, please post them below or touch base directly with support.

Hot fix is finally here. No problems with Tablo now that the new LG update is installed.

Release 1.7.5 is primarily for the Legacy devices that updated the firmware.

I got an update this past week but the version still shows 1.7.4 and I have no idea what was fixed. If anything. @TabloTV @TabloSupport

Can’t connect at all to my LG C2 today, Tries to connect, disconnect, Get the Connect to Tabloo Select the Tablo device etc. screen , select and same thing happens over and over.nConnecting to Tablo, spinning blue ball of death, and then This is Taking longer than expected. Disconnect. At least the work around eventually worked.

I also cannot connect to my Tablo on my LG C5 this morning. It seems to be isolated to Web OS, as it works fine on iOS and Google TV OS. A fresh install and TV restart did not fix the issue. Anyone else having issues? May warrant a phone call to Tablo.

We’re seeing some connectivity issues with both LG & Samsung apps and are investigating.

As @Jakob_Lowman noted, other platforms aren’t affected.

Anything?

Sorry @CarbonCompound.

There we posted the wrong version. The correct latest update is 1.7.4. It resolves the issue outlined here.

Thanks!
