Starting Friday my Tablo didn’t record anything and I couldn’t delete shows either. Now, it will not connect to any of my devices. I have tried many different things. The blue light just keeps blinking.
I was on the phone with CS, so aggravating, nothing worked.
I have had this device for many years. Is anyone else having this issue or do you think this device just stopped functioning?
I did update the firmware late last night. I usually have it connected via Wi-Fi but did hardwire it to the box to see if that would help and it didn’t.
I assume that when it was hardwired the link light on both the table unit and router port was on(green)
The routers DHCP connected device list shouldn’t show the tablo device is connected. If your tablo shows up as connected with an IP address see if pinging it works. Maybe it needs to phone home and home doesn’t recognize it.
I updated my tablo last night also and now it doesn’t work either. But I thought it might be because I’m using a beta firmware. It hardwire in also but will not connect.
If you have Tablo connected to wi-fi and you want to wire it in directly you have to power cycle the Tablo. Either by unplugging and plugging back in, or a quick 1 second click of the reset button. Otherwise it still thinks it is on wi-fi.
