Tablo iOS Mobile App (4th Gen) Update (v. 1.6.0)

Hi folks -

An update for the Tablo iOS mobile app for 4th generation Tablo devices is now available.

This update is mostly small fixes and behind-the-scenes tweaks we wanted out before the holidays.

Here’s what you can expect:

Still no Shows/Movies/Sports tabs.

Tablo iOS app will not display recording settings for scheduled series with no upcoming episodes. The series tile is there, but clicking on it results in a spinning “working” icon that never progresses to display any series details.

This functionality is finally working correctly on the Android/FireTV Tablo app. But it is “broken” on the latest iOS version.

The app has been working for me. No issues to report

Here is just one example. I have many others.

First screen shows George and Mandy series tile. It is scheduled for all new episodes to be recorded, which has been working fine. However, there are currently no future episodes scheduled over the next few weeks … new or repeats. Selecting this tile results in the second screen. Spinning circle that never completes. Therefore, no way to access series recording options.

Here are the same screens on the Android/FireTV app:

As can be seen, I have access to series recording settings regardless of whether there are any existing recordings, or any upcoming episodes.

Will there ever be the ability to see all upcoming shows by channel to facilitate scheduling for the next couple of weeks? (in ios app) It is in the Roku app and was in the Old app for ios. Having to slog through the live channel guide to find things of interest for two weeks is not very time efficient. … Or maybe I’m missing something?

Any plans to allow the iPad version of the app in the Mac App Store? It would be great to be able to watch from there as well.
