Tablo external recovery

I have a 500TB hard drive connected to my Tablo, I unplugged the HDD because I had to reset the Tablo to factory settings and start over cause it wouldn’t connect, I have the Tablo all setup again and plugged the hard drive back in, it shows that I have 184.5 GB on the external hdd, but when I go to look at the recordings it shows nothing there, I have rebooted the Tablo but still can’t get the recording to show back up even though it says there’s something there according to the storage on the external hdd, how do I get them to show up again

Thank you,
Kevin

A reset to factory defaults wipes out the Tablos pointers to the recordings on the drive.
Unfortunately, I believe that info is stored in internal to the Tablo itself.

@TabloTV Support might be able to help you restore them.

If you are talking about a 4th generation white puck, there is no way to recover your files. I’m sorry that you had to reset your Tablo and hope that next time you ask for advice here on what might be causing your connectivity issues.

At this point, you have two options: connect your external drive to a linux machine and copy files over to sort out on your own time, then reformat. Or reformat now and move on. Good luck!
