Has anyone tried connecting Tablo to a NAS? can it be done? I would like to copy my recorded shows to my NAS for long-term storage.
If not available this would be a great feature since the Tablo is network connected.
You can extract the recordings from the Tablo using third party applications. Search the forums for them.
I used a program called ‘extFS for Mac’ to move my shows from a dying hard drive to a new one. Worked flawlessly.
Not sure if they have a Windows version though but for mac I’d highly recommend it.
If you have a healthy system, there are virtually pain free tools for this. Depending how customized you want, there are several options for all platforms.
