Thank you. So far it is working very well. I’ll monitor and let you know if anything changes.

the new frame by frame is great

Still crash city on two Hisense android 11 TVs. Is there any info I can give you to help diagnose?

were there 2 1.5.1 updates for android ?

iam on an nvidia shield and when i have all channels selected in the guide filter and try and scroll it stutters and crashes

As of today, I see it showing 1.5.1. It was working well, then had a couple of shut downs earlier this evening. But now it is working well again. I’ll let you know if we start having crashes again.

I have a Sony TV model ( Bravia 4K 2015) per the Tablo app settings that has been updated to version 1.5.1

Thumbnails are still very slow to load and the App crashes after watching recordings for 2 to 3 minutes. There was a small improvement compared to version 1.5 but still unusable.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App as well as cleared all cached data on my TV.

Sorry you’ve both run into these crashes.

Our 1.5.2 update should resolve them.

I used this version this morning. it seems to be vastly improved. Can you state what the nature of the problem was?

The Live TV Guide scrolling performance has severely degraded since 1.5.0 on CCwGTV4k (I’m now running 1.5.2, but it’s the same since 1.5.0). Additionally, the app crashes frequently from the guide when scrolling. I tried clearing the cache without any improvement. As it stands, I’m stuck watching low numbered channels since the app crashes when I scroll beyond the first page or two.

yep i reported this to

I didn’t have the crashing issue, but the guide performance when scrolling is much worse. It seems to fetch guide data while scrolling leading to choppy behavior.

yea i think they cant cache all the guide data at once. it would be too big

Yes, it’s been great for me since the new release as well. Thank you!

FYI … After 1.5.2 my Android TV app is still crashing when I delete a recording. NOTE: the recording does get deleted, but then the app crashes me back to the Android TV home screen.

This problem does not occur if I delete a recording from the IOS or Roku Tablo apps, so it would seem its not the device, but rather the app for Android.

I have opened this issue with support prior to 1.5.2 - and they did some remote diagnostics… Had hoped it was resolved with 1.5.2. Can you confirm this is still in the pipeline to get fixed?

Doug

Edit #1: This is in regard to shows that have already been recorded. I am able to watch those recordings. The crash happens on delete.

I have witnessed this too, but not every time
I was getting crashes when deleting a conflict recording
