Tablo 4th gen on chrome os no longer works.. TV's and phones are fine

it used to work. now it doesnt.. likely something in the latest chrome os build

Hi @mike_winslow,

Unfortunately, we’ve never had a 4th Gen app for Chrome. Have you been using a thrid party option?

I have an Asus Chromebook and Tablo 4th works. It runs the Chrome OS.

Are you running the Tablo 4th gen Android app on your Chromebook?

nice answer . very useful. no, downloaded from google play.. who’s fault is that.. perhaps you may want to find out why it stopped working anyway. ok?

proably until you get the next update for chrome os

I’ll translate @TabloTV 's response…

Tablo gen 4 does not support any web browsers.

If a web browser does work with your Tablo gen 4, great, but Tablo will not fix any issues you have using them, since they do not support them.

Legacy Tablo supports the following web browsers:
Mozilla Firefox;
Apple Safari

Google Chrome, and Micosoft Edge (and Internet Explorer) Web Browsers stopped being supported for legacy Tablo a long time ago.

Yes.
As you can see, the paused pix only shows one thumbnail.
Asus with up to date Chrome OS.

Well, in fairness, you just said ChromeOS, which unless you specify you are talking about the Android Tablo app that can be used on a ChromeOS machine that supports Play Store/Android apps, would imply you are talking within the Chrome browser since it’s a ChromeOS machine.

Assumed you probably were, but was making the point the OP didn’t specify they were using the Tablo Android app on a ChromeOS machine.

nobody here is trying to run it on a webbrowser.. chrome os has an android container.. when you go to playstore from a chromebook - it allows you to download and install the tablo app on it.. if it’s not supported, playstore wont offer it as a choice.. I hope you guys get plenty of calls and complaints, as i believe it’s the app owners who provide a compatibility list to playstore.. in any case, what was once working, no longer works, and it has to do with the latest chromeos update.. is that clear enough now?

tell me in so many words that you dont have a chromebook.. lol.. the OP is pretty clear, but it doesnt says that the world is round either

Oh, we have 2 Chromebooks in the house. Granted, all Chromebooks made after about 2019 support running the Play Store, but not all, which is why I was saying OP wasn’t being clear enough.

Looks like it may be the Android version of the app.
