I have discovered that when I’m watching peacock on Roku with the subtitles on, then when I switch over to tablo the sound goes away. I had figured out to go back to peacock and turn the subtitles back off this will correct the problem. This is a strange occurrence but it is what it is. Curious if I’m the only one
I do lose sound occasionally on my Roku, but it seems to happen haphazardly. Sometimes it’s when I switch between apps and sometimes when I haven’t been watching all day. I just restart the Roku.
Maybe you can look on the Roku forums and see if they say something about it.
There are audio issues with some versions of Roku and the Tablo. It’s possible Peacock is putting it into a mode that confuses the Tablo app. What happens if you use another app between the two?
I can add: Good luck on the Roku forums. It was never the greatest for niche services like Tablo, and their recent redesign is horrible. Power users like me who regularly read it and helped people have lost alot of features to the point where I don’t go there much anymore.
For me since I figured out how to avoid this, when watching peacock I just make sure that the caption is off before exiting, seems weird but is what it is
