Before I cut the cable I could select the cable app and it would automatically go to selected channel.
Now with Tablo 4th gen on Roku TV’s I have to (1)select Tablo app (2) 2Clicks to live (3)Scroll to desired channel (4) 2 clicks to Watch live. Every time it freezes (good antenna, bad location) I have to repeat 2,&4.
Is there anyway to streamline Tablo to go to a desired channel?
The number of button pushes has been a real sore spot with me for a loooong time.
I have 3 Tablos and want to know which one I’m on when I select Tablo. I have to painfully do 7 button pushes to get to settings to find out which Tablo i’m on then at least 3 more pushes to change to another Tablo.
At least 6 of the pushes can be eliminated by enabling scrolling thru the list. The scroll was there for a brief period last year but was killed with a following update.
The settings icon could be placed a the top corner of the home screen or above the search icon.
Ya, the Gen4 app definitely has too many idiosyncrasies that the OG app didn’t have. Fixing them seems like it’d be more trouble than it’s worth (to Tablo).
