I just upgraded to the new Tablo Quad. I had several shows recorded on my old tablo. However they do not appear on the new QUAD. The hard drive was attache to my old tablo. I just connected it to the quad. The drive is recognized and shows the space allocation that the shows are still there but nothing appears on recordings tab. I just use PC web browser (Chrome) app. Is there a way to get the new Quad to recognize those recordings?
Make sure both your old Tablo and new Tablo Quad are running the new 2.2.26 firmware. Then follow the directions below.
If you leave the HDD connected to the new Quad overnight the overnight maintenance process will clean up the drive (aka remove what it thinks are orphaned recordings to reclaim the space).
