When watching a show that’s finished recording, you see the current playback position (time) and time remaining. But if the show is still recording, while it still shows the time remaining, it doesn’t show the current playback position. This makes is difficult to skip commercials manually.
Except for a few weeks, my Tablo did have that feature, then it went away. So an experimental feature? Is there a way I can get back into the experiment?

If I understand your description, you begin watching the start of a show that is still being recorded at the same time.
I would LOVE to be able to do that! When I attempt to watch a show while it is being recorded, the Tablo forces me to watch it at it’s “live” position. I cannot watch the beginning of the show until I cancel the recording.
