I have a 4th generation Tablo for sale. I purchased it with the hope I could use it. Worked well except I didn’t know it doesn’t work with my Google Mesh WiFi. My loss your gain. Used for about 2 weeks.

Sounds like a setup issue - works fine with my google mesh.
I’m interested. How much and is it 2 tuner or 4?
This is the title from Amazon where I purchased it. Is $50 fair + shipping if not local?
Try unplugging the MESH satellite. That leaves the google router/WiFi handling the Tablo. If that works, there’s a work around. If it doesn’t work, then there’s a problem with the router or the Tablo.
I think thats the issue. The Mesh turns being connected is the one directly connected to my modem, and that one can’t be unplugged. That is my best guess.
Have you tried address reservation. Set DHCP IP reservation or a Static IP address for a device - Google Nest Help
This is the “work around” I spoke of. If the Tablo is switching connection between the router/WiFi base and the satellite, it shouldn’t (but can conceivably) cause a change in IP address assignment. Disconnecting the satellite should take care of this. If it doesn’t then there’s a connection issue (fault) between the router and the Tablo - one of them is probably bad.
I use a Google Wifi mesh network and it works fine for me. There are 2 Ethernet ports on the back of each Google WIFI device. My Tablo is hardwired into one of the Ethernet Ports. The Google mesh devices handle all the Wifi between the router and the remote mesh devices. It works perfect.
