Seems dead shortly after recent firmware update

I updated the firmware yesterday. It was working normally after that. Today the unit is dead.

I’ve power cycled it but blue light does not come on. Power adapter is working, providing 12V. I even tried a second power adapter but no blue light.

I tried reset button and holding reset while powering up. No help.

If you can, test the power supply. If it seems okay, call Tech Support.

How long have you had it?

The Tablo 4Gs (and perhaps others) have been misbehaving recently. Don’t know when this is going to be fixed (properly) but I wouldn’t blame the firmware update just yet - I think the problem is on their end, not ours.

There were two other people that reported dead Tablo Gen4 immediately after the firmware update.

Contact Customer Support.

I checked power supply and it was still providing 12V. But when I test the USB port on Tablo device there is no power. So I ordered a new 12V power supply. Verified again that new power supply is working but that changed nothing.

Purchased Tablo on 12/15/24.

Contact Support. With dead Tablos they are sometimes flexible on the ‘one year warranty’ especially for those that are just past a year.

And if the damage occurred during a firmware update.

No response from support.

Did you phone them? When mine died they took care of it in one phone call.
