I rely on the Premiering section for scheduling recordings. On my Tablo Legacies I show content premiering (both completely new programs and returning programs) on a clear page. Currently on my Legacy Tablo there are 31 premiering offerings with no duplications.
The page is easy to read with clear posters for the programs.
The Gen 4 shows less than half of the premiering programs and first up offering is paid programming. This section, which I know has been discussed before, needs improvement. Tablo can and should do better than this.
Yea, I feel you on this too, my wife does the same.
You ever go search in TV show Per Channel?! It’s crazy, they got all the Paid Programming shows listed. Like I really want to watch Prostate Pills shows. There are tons like that.
I know it’s some automated scripted list. The automation needs to be tweaked a bit.
tablo slowly jumped on the band wagon and wanted a modern look and feel. That doesn’t make it easier and more efficient to use. The legacy firetv stick app is an example.
The Premiering section under home only shows the next 3 days. I prefer the Legacy app where I can see all the main network premieres for the next 2 weeks on a single page and don’t need to scroll through each channel hoping that something new pops out to me. And no indication reflecting the series already scheduled to record.
How difficult would it be to have a more page that opens from the Home page to show all network (abc/cbs/nbc/Fox/CW/PBS) premiering shows for two weeks out?
Would it be possible to have a status button on programs which already have recordings scheduled similar to the Legacy app?
