We watch on two different TVs and they present quite differently. The Sony Android shows us a blue line and an image while scrubbing (fast forward or rewinding) during playback of a recorded program. The Roku shows us a blue line at the bottom of the screen and no image. To find a spot in a spot a program takes forever. Its an older Roku so I was not sure its specific to this model. Is this normal?
No. thumbnails are generated after the recording is complete and a tuner is available. if android has thumbnails the roku will have thumbnails. But only after a tuner is available to process the completed recording.
Thanks. Great information. Tablo works much differently than what we were used to with YoutubeTV works but we will manage.
A reason to have 4 tuner instead of 2.
