Does anyone else have an issue with this? My closed captioning is turned on in my Roku and on my Sony TV, but nothing. Is this an issue with the Tablo?
Yes. It won’t do closed captioning at all. This was mentioned on Facebook or twitter about a month or so before it was released. I assume it is on their roadmap, but it is a limitation right now.
@donmacbc - Yes, this is a feature I’m championing myself with the dev team. There are all sorts of customers for whom closed captioning is a critical part of their viewing experience so I’m pushing to make it happen. No ETA yet but stay tuned.
That’s good to know that it’s (hopefully) in the works. At least with my Roku I can plug headphones into the remote’s jack and listen that way.
