Stuck on updating firmware. Reset the Tablo. Now back to blue and white flashing lights.

I finally got a solid blue LED, but the endless Spinning Blue Ball of Death trying to connect. Finally got the DISCONNECT suggestion.

But what’s the alternative competitor to Tablo? We were using Amazon Recast. But they discontinued it.

@cjcox Okay, I see some changes - the OG Legacy now shows this new window (not the Tablo front-end). Clicking “Search Again” just comes back to this same page. Also, the Tablo Ripper is working (which is wasn’t last night).

This is BS. My Tablo still flashing blue/white.

Channels DVR. It requires more tech skills for sure, but there are never connectivity issues since there’s no dependence on their servers.

Thank you for the communications - please also comment here on the best course to get the devices working once the fix is implemented. Well, I just read in an earlier update that no action should be needed.

I use the Zapperbox DVR, the Tablo is only my backup.

Mine says “setup failed, your tablo does not have a location configured” tech support said to just wait

My gen4 won’t connect been over one hour

Give it time. Took a few attempts for me but finally connected.

White and blue light still

Give it time? I’ve given it well over 24 hours. I’ve had a steady blue light twice in the past hour but when trying to connect, it reverts back to the flashing white light.

Same here. Still no connection. Central Virginia.

This reminds me of last summer when several airlines were pretty much grounded for hours to days because a third-party vendor instituted an “upgrade” without testing it thoroughly.

It’s also why I feed all my TVs directly through an amplified splitter.

Well, in the past I would have called myself an advocate of this product. I own three. But I’ve never seen a more confused and unhelpful tech department. Loads of frustration out there when it’s not the customers fault. How many others have lost time and recordings messing with this. Time will tell I guess.
