Reset Password for 4th Gen Tablo?

I set up my 4th generation Tablo using my iPad mini. The Tablo is connected to the router with an ethernet cable. I had set up a new account using a different email address from my legacy Tablo, and for some reason, Apple’s password manager did not save the password. In fact, I don’t even recall setting a password, as it connected to the iPad mini, my iPhone, and two different Roku devices without having to type in any password.

I was just trying to use this on my iPad Air 2, and got the screen shown here. I don’t remember the password, if there ever was one, and there is nowhere to reset it. So I can’t use this app on this iPad. What do I do now?

I have the same problem.

I put in a support ticket. I’ll post when I hear back.

Just an F.Y.I. I used the same email address as my original account for my gen4 account, just a different password. Worked fine.

I put in a support ticket through Tablo’s website, and heard back. They said there is currently no way to reset a password on the app, but it’s coming in a future update. In the meantime, they set me up with a temporary password that will work until they enable the ability to reset it on the app. So if you do that, they will sends you a temporary password, too!

The guide is free so I would just create a new account and add it if it lets you. If not then email support to remove it from the old account so you can add it to the new one.

That works, but it insists on resetting the Tablo, which means you lose all timers and recordings.
