I’ve been troubleshooting a buffering issue and think I’ve traced it to my old external HDD. After removing it and allowing recordings to go to the internal drive only the buffering seems to be gone.
However, the recordings that were on my old HDD are still listed as available to play in the app even through the drive is no longer connected. It’s been ~2 days now and they’re still showing.
Does anyone have advice about how to update the recording listing so that it only shows programs available on the drive it recently changed to?
@ctbillman, When I changed my external drive for a different one, the same thing happened. As KimchiGUN said, I had to manually delete each recording one by one, or use the manage recordings function to delete all recordings for a series. I guess the Tablo stores the recording data on the internal drive rather than on the external drive, so I think what you are seeing is normal for the Tablo.
