Recordings no longer play back

Thanks for your kind words. I can’t take much credit. Someone else came up with that workaround, I just shared it. I am just a user like you, but have been following this issue rather closely. Glad you reached out to Roku. This is their doing. Let hope we all get a solution soon.

Well, you’re keeping it alive. I’m still waiting here after trying the workaround.
Like you stated; lose sound, then lose pic; get pic and lose sound…can’t sync the two together. You would think their wiz kids could solve this easily.
It worked fine until lately.

It is now 1-18-2025 I have this problem with my Tablo 4 and my ROKU TCL tv. The ROKU version is 14.1.4.
As of today I can’t play back recordings from my Tablo. Also playback from Peacock was blocked. I did the Dolby Digital change on ROKU and the Peacock now plays, The Tablo just keeps initializing. I will leave the tablo alone and try tomorrow.

It is 1-18-25 I had the Tablo 4 stop playing back recorded videos on my TCL ROKU v14.1.4 Also lost playback of Peacock.
I did the Dolby sound change. Got Peacock back.
The Tablo just sat there on initialization, getting new programs.
I pulled the power left it for a while, plugged it back in and got the Tablo recorded programs playing again.

In order to help others, it might help if you were a little clearer on which device’s power you pulled.

Regardless, sounds like you got everything up and running again – congrats!
