Recently sfter finding our 2.4 Ghz band was congested I replaced the Roku with a dual band so it could used on 5 Ghz. Tablo is ethernet. After doing this anything recorded before a certain date would not play on the new Roku but newer recordings would. Now even newer recordings will just show a black screen, although thumbnails are visible when forwarding, but Live channels won’t play at all. If I plug the old Roku in it all works. I know, Roku, but there are several in the house programmed to Harmony remotes and family members are used to Roku.
Which new Roku did you purchase (model number)? There are some new Roku that are not compatible with Tablo. This is Roku’s doing, not Tablo’s. On some of their newer models they do not support the codex that Tablo uses.

I found that out after trying the Streaming Stick plus 2025! I returned that and got the Streaming Stick 4K, because it worked on another TV we have. The TV in question is a 7-year-old Samsung.
