Recordings on the Gen4 app appear as “Sunday” when they were recorded before midnight on Saturday.
Hi @klein1dc,
That’s strange.
What app are you using? Are all recordings affected? Do you see the same problem on your Live TV Grid?
I’m experiencing the same thing. Why does tablo think a recording from today at 11-11:34PM is tomorrow?
This is Tablo app on Chromecast.
Obviously not a big deal but just curious. I guess I could see the Tonight Show and Kimmel being tomorrow, but not tonight’s news.
Someone else reported that a week ago.
You guys must have received the new Tablo Time Machine being delivered this fall. ![]()
Haha thanks. I scrolled down a bit and didn’t see this.
Both the new app and the legacy app, on Roku and Apple TV HD, in the “Coming Soon” category. It only happens on recordings between 11 pm and midnight.
Interesting. This is new app on Chromecast so add that to your list.
Same here. I have a 4 tuner legacy Tablo and this appeared after I upgraded the Tablo unit with a software update. Anything recorded between 11 pm and 11:59 pm are listed as recorded on the next day. How do I correct this?
This only happens on the legacy app not the newer current Tablo app.
I wonder if it’s something to do with dodgy DST corrections when converting from UTC or similar?
It does seem like the problem started when I got the new app, which included a scan. I’ll try a rescan and see if that helps. I’m using a Quad Legacy device.
Haven’t the legacy Roku and Fire TV Stick apps been doing this for a long time. It always appeared to be when the recording stopped. Not when it started.
I did the rescan, but there was no change. Friday night, a show was recorded from 11 pm to 12 am, and it was labelled as Saturday.
Hi @klein1dc,
Just to double-check,
When you ran the channel scan, did you save the changes? Even if you made no changes to the channel lineup, the scan needs to be saved to work.
Yes. There are a couple of channels that have poor reception and are redundant content anyway, so I delete them each time I rescan, then save.
