Recording FAST channels with 4th-gen

For those with 4th-gen units what has been your experience recording FAST channels (recording quality, fast forwarding, thumbnails, etc.)?

Are the FAST channels displayed in something higher than 480i?

Yes, they tend to be 1080p, which is a nice step up from some of the same / similar channels that I get over the air.

I believe the recordings act the same as over the air recordings. You can fast-forward, rewind, etc. - and thumbnails do appear eventually.
