Whenever I watch a recorded show from Tablo 4th gen via Roku Ultra all is fine until the commecial, when i don’t skip through the commercial and let it play, the audio for the program will resume a couple minutes before the video of the commercial is done. Wierd. Tablo and Roku are are hardwired Ethernet to my router.

I’ve had that exact same issue unrelated to the tablo. It happens when I am on the sling app in my Fire TV stick 4K Max. I believe it to be streaming satellite issues. Whenever it does happen all I have to do is exit the app and go back in and it’s locked on, straight fine. So maybe more of just a buffering issue.
But that has never happened with my tablo. Are you using an external hard drive, and is it a SATA spinning drive? I only use SSD. That can make a difference when playing back a recorded show from your Tablo. No expert, just throwing out some ideas. I am welcome to anyone’s corrections or suggestions.
It is a spinning type external drive. Been thinking about getting an SDD. Odd thing is - the delay only happens towards the end, last minute or so of commercials.
Have you noticed any particular channels or times of day that affect your recordings?
Update, this issue does not occur with the Tablo app on my Samsung tablet.
