Yes! People will come back to you to ask about using usb hdd or ssd.
I kept trying to figure out how a mpeg2 video with ac3 sound was going to play on a device that doesnāt support those formats.
Iām assuming you mean that the kindle canāt handle it?
Could also be an appletv.
Hello,
We donāt have a Kindel app. If you would like to know whatās compatible, this article has the answers: Tablo-Compatible Apps and Devices ā Tablo .
You should be able to stream to any compatible device connected to your network.
^^^^ Thanks but it looks like Iām SOL. I was hoping to just playback something recorded that doesnāt involve an Internet connection. The way Iāve done with DVDs the last 15 or so years.Record it,finalize it then watch it on a portable DVD player. Could be copywrite infringement issues at play as well.
@tomkat, Can your current recorder record to a flash drive instead of to a DVD? Then maybe you could connect the flash drive to your Amazon Fire tablet and use the VLC player to play it.
No itās an older model Toshiba,no USB port. I didnāt know they were even still making DVD recorders. Oh well even if I cant record something off Tablo and play it back on another device this Tablo is still a much better overall viewing experience than what I had.
