This explains why I occasionally have to do a complete restart of my Android devices (FireTV stick or Google TV) when “all else fails”. I guess it’s the only way to ensure a “fresh start” of the Tablo app. This often clears up issues using the Tablo app.
For me the “trigger” for restarting the Android device is when I access the Tablo on my iPhone, and everything is fine. Another dead giveaway is the recordings on the Tablo are fine, but viewing live TV from the antenna is wonky (buffering, stuttering, sound out of sync, etc).
I continue to expect the programmers to resolve this ongoing PITA behavior, but it hasn’t happened yet.
