This is on a Tablo OTA 1TB DVR.
Have set to record only new shows, but records all shows, new, and old.
If a series is showing old showing and also new ones, it records both.
Not sure what it considers “old” and “new”.
I believe they did say NEW. That is why I was wondering abut Tablo’s definition of NEW.
If you look in the Shows list or in the Scheduled list you should be able to see if upcoming shows are all marked NEW, or just the actual new ones.
This data comes from the guide provider - and can be incorrect at times.
