Problems with Android and Chromecast

I was trying to watch a recorded program from the Android up and sent to the Chromecast today and having many more problems than before. The sync would not last and the show would often stop, requiring me to disconnect and reconnect to the Chromecast. This has not happened before, and I do know that the Tablo app and the Chromecast have had updates since my last use, so I have no idea what is at fault here.
