Based on the concerns about forwarding port 80, I’m thinking I shouldn’t say the exact IP address for the Tablo? It doesn’t start with 174. But both the 174 address and any other IP address I tried to use during this process were given to me by Tablo on the page where you manually establish remote access.
Well if the IP address you finally ended up entering starts with 192.168.0.x then that’s an internal IP and not accessible by the outside world. I just wanted to know what exact proper settings ended up working cause it should be an “internal” IP that worked.
I think it was an IP address in that range. I don’t remember exactly and I’m afraid to look at that remote access settings page after all of the problems I had…!
