For some reason, even though I’ve used my tablo for several years all of a sudden, it’s choosing not to decode
Sorry you’re running into this. There were some recent issues earlier today - you might need to restart your Tablo and/or router to see if that helps (if you haven’t already).
Thanks for the recommendation. I tried both without success.
If you are using Roku go to Tablo>Settings>Troubleshooting and turn on Audio compatibility mode.
It’s not back! I’m having the same problem as the OP on a couple channels. They tune good on my Tivo and other subchannels are good as well.
Same problem here. But it’s not just mine. My parent’s Tablo and my brother’s Tablo have also crapped out.
My Apple and iOS devices are back up (as of 3P EST). Yay.
Fire OS however still not quite right. After multiple installs of the Tablo/Fire app and a restart of the FireStick the issue remains unresolved on this platform. When I start the app It instantly recognizes my Tablo but won’t load anything because it wants me to register this “new” device. (See pic)
At this point, I’m presuming this is all still part of the overall server/communication/outage issue that’s been going on today.
But thought I’d give everyone an update.
Every time I get that screen I just hit the back button.
The servers are still up and down at 3pm CST.
Remember that every function is performing a call to the Mothership. With calls to different servers which are on a round-robin of not being available.
My Apple “fix” was short lived. Apple and iOS devices are not showing anything in the program guides.. So I think i’m going to take the earlier advice…stop trying to fix it and just wait to see if things are resolved overnight or over the weekend.
