I currently use a roof mounted aerial with Windows Media Center and am able to pull in a dozen or more channels using a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual TV Tuner in my HTPC. When I look at the possible channels on the Tablo site very few are there. I would think Tablo should be able to pull in the same channels I get now right?
The simplicity of Tablo really appeals to me and my WMC is getting a little buggy. WAF (wife approval factor) is very important to me.
Ideally yes. I have a Hauppauge 1950 and I get the same amount of channels as with my Tablo (I know this post probably didn’t help… just saying I haven’t seen the problem with something sorta similar).
@thusband - The channel finder is meant as a general guide. There’s no way to determine exactly what someone is going to get unless they plug in an antenna in their own home, which you have already done. :)
We have a good quality tuner inside the Tablo so you should be able to get the same channels you’re used to.
