Onn 2K device Andriod 14

Onn keeps giving unable to decode error when playing back recordings.

When the same recording is played back on another device no issues.

Yes, I have Uninstaller and reinstalled the tablo app several times.

Yes I have restarted the router

Yes, I have rebooted the tablo several times

I was not getting this issue with an earlier version of the tablo app. Is there anywhere I can download an earlier version of the andriod tv tablo app?(can only find the mobile app).

Any other ideas?

I will give you this… you have tried all the things that I would have recommended.

Did the issue start right when the new app version was installed? Also, it is possible that the ONN operating system updated?

I can recommend you go to apkpure.com where you can download the Tablo apks all the way back to Sept 2023. Their apks are dependable but I still always run virustotal scans on any apk I download. Its very easy to sideload an apk to your ONN. I have dozens of apks that have been downloaded and work perfectly on the ONN. Do you know the procedures for sideloading apk’s. If not come back here and either I or someone else here can help you.

Of course I have all the needed software available and I have done it literally over a hundred times on many devices and networks. I could download the apk, verify it, transfer it to the ONN and then install it using Xplorer (or similar) in well under a minute. Very very easy after a small learning curve.
