I like to shut down my wifi at night but TABLO update/maintenance is set to around 2:40am Why so backwards that I don’t get to choose my own time to update it? Even another option or 2 would be better!
Why do you feel the need to shut down your wifi?
I believe I should be given a choice for my preferences
I agree a choice of time would be helpful for some, including the OP. @Pushti, is it possible to connect your Tablo with ethernet instead of wifi so you can turn your wifi off and still get the Tablo updates?
Couldn’t the OP just manually update whenever they do connect? Isn’t the update just for the guide data anyway?
That’s a manual workaround.
OP is asking for a new scheduling feature.
Take the Tablo out of the wifi network and plug it directly to the internet modem/router???
The Tablo will get a consistent connection that way and will not be subject to interference or lost or weak signal that is common with wi-fi. But if your plan is to completely shut down your network (not just wi-fi) then you would not have to worry about not getting the update if you turn off wi-fi overnight.
