This afternoon I am unable to get connected using my Apple TV on the off line mode. I also have a Google TV 4K streaming device and it connected me automatically using the off line mode. It appears that the servers are experiencing some issue with Tablo but the Apple TV version is clearly not working. I get the guide but no live TV when I select a channel. Off line is still not working consistently with Apple Tv.
That appears to be correct. Not every server is affected. The Authentication infrastructure is functional so it doesn’t know that the other infrastructure mechanism is down.
Disconnect the Tablo from the Internet and it should trigger the Offline Mode.
Didn’t work on ROKU.
Just a spinning circle, never go the work offline message.
You unplugged the Tablo Gen4 from the Internet?
Nothing happened but spinner.
Restart app?
No, it just sat there spinning trying to connect.
I would think it has a timer for when to quit trying, and pop up the offline box.
Tablo should automatically go to off line mode instead of spinning. Android seems to work but Apple TV and Roku appear to have bugs that prevent it.
My Android mobile timed out then I stupidly continued on.
Had to uninstall reinstall. That poor pooch.
But Android mobile doesn’t support Offline Mode.
Offline Mode must be after authentication takes place then when the conversation is no longer happening between subsequent infrastructure services.
I’m wondering how Nuvyyo is going to handle having everyone select Offline Mode and never come back online.
Is the enhanced 14 day Guide Service really worth pounding sand every day?
