Have started noticing that the latest version of the Tablo app on an Android TV box introduced a lot of issues.
Tablo app will kick you back to home screen for no apparent reason.
The app now seems to use a lot of ram than two versions ago and even more than the previous version.
Switching from one Tablo Device to another will eventually cause the playback to stutter continually which at first made me think that issue was the signal which it wasn’t.
Had to close app, clear device cache and restart the application.
Also noticed that if anything goes missing with the guide on the server side it will sometimes make scheduled program disappear even if the time and date of the show has not change when the data eventually comes back.
The above seems to be that issue with the servers and the guide provider are still not updating all servers correctly or that there are multiple version of the guide going around the servers.
The one thing I forgot here is, wonder why the guide provider is using zip codes for the guide data, it seems to me that using county to group zip codes would be a better way of keeping the guide from having different information or missing information for a channel so the user has to eventually figure out that using another zip code for the next city over will give them the correct guide info.
Also if a tv station has multiple channels why are the entries separate where the guide will be messed up on one of the channels but not the other.
The offline mode can sometimes be annoying because it will come up even though the local network has not issue, understandably that it could still be that sometime the connection to the Tablo server maybe the issue or there is some work going on on Tablo servers.
Have figured out also the signal is always blamed for the pixelated video but in truth it seems to be an issue with playback the Tablo player is using as rewinding the recording will play it properly, but could also be due to network pocket lose but it is odd due to the fact that it does not happen on all shows recorded or when watching the same channel live.
