Your link to Amazon for the Plugable brand adapter I used is correct. I chose it because the manufacturer website specifically says it is tested with the Nexus player. And it did work perfectly.
I had a Trendnet adapter and also tried it with the Nexus briefly, and it also worked properly.

I was initially worried that there might be some driver required or compatibility issue, but these adapters apparently do not require a driver installation when used with The Nexus player.
