Yah, there were some I was saving, but oh well.
We gotta help as many people as we can! The more information we can share from our experiences, the easier it is for people to have properly working Tabloa! Weâre in this together, man.
Thanks for sharing what you know.
They need to make a way to unhook the hard drive and salvage recordings after resetting, especially given the problems.
You can certainly copy the contents to a different drive, but youâd be on your own to figure out what they are. If you take the time to write down every show/movie and itâs recording times, you will have an easier time figuring out what the random folder numbers are when you dig into that drive.
But yes, it would be great if there was an easier way to access your old recordings. Record the information onto the external drive so you can migrate it to a new/different unit if you need to.
I have a similarly different situation: I want to wipe one of my Tablos and sell it. Itâs a lot to go through and at some point Iâm going to just give up and not care whatâs left on it. (sigh)
Ron1 early asked what we get when following the link to My Status-Tablo TV link. Here is what I get, but what does it mean? The âlast seenâ date is 6/18/25 and today is 7/7/25 (we havenât watched much tv lately so didnât miss it until now).
I believe that may be the last time your device checked in with the Tablo servers.
Hi @tlnieman ,
We removed your picture because it had your IP address, which is private information which should generally not be shared.
You mentioned networking issues. Did you change how the tablo connects to your network? If you placed it on an ethernet switch, it can interfere with the required connection to your router. I had to buy a mini router and put it in access point mode then connect the tablo to the mini routerâs extra ethernet ports to get it to work. Could a power surge have fried it out? You need a surge protector on your Tablo.
