This is a great deal on a Nexus Player, for anyone wondering.
Especially now. As retailers were closing out the remaining inventory of NP’s it was fairly easy to get a (new, refurb) NP for <$50. But now… it’s rare!! So the value can go up while it still remains a relevant platform (it will obsolete probably within a year or so… YMMV just because updates/upgrades will stop).
Of course same sort of obsolescence can happen to any vendor applicance… just the way it goes…

I have a manufacturer refurbished one available as well if anyone is interested. I ended up getting a Roku due to some other apps I needed like Amazon Prime.
