This is not a solution nor should it be necessary.
Now after a re-scan, getting a “Failed to load. A network error occurred. An unrecognized error occurred.”
Awesome
Well I did finally do guide zip code dance and that seems to have worked. It did not jack up my favorites as I was expecting but it DID jack up completely the few things I do record and I had to cancel them all and reschedule them. This is definitely a crappy user experience for an upgrade and I would really like to understand why this is happening and would also like to understand if there is a fix in the works, as it should not be incumbent on the user base to “fix” this.
Anything to add? Any fixes planned? Any ideas when/if this is going to bite us again? @TabloTV @TabloEngineering @TabloSupport
Hi @dfjkl,
Would you outline what happened with your recordings and DM us your Tablo’s SID? The product team would like to take a look.
2.2.56 went into offline mode. At some point I scanned and saved channels. Network up now and it did not go back to online mode. Scanned/saved channels 6x before it populated the screen. For some reason the check boxes to receive the internet channels were all blank and had to check every box again.
I’ve waited to install the firmware update, is it safe now?
This rescan with new zipcode fixed it for me… weird.
I would say yes. I’ve not had any issues that could be traced to the firmware update.
no issues with the firmware update. ben testing it when it came out.
