I have a New 4th Gen Tablo 4 Tuner unit and it stinks. When watching on a Roku device it just boots me out without warning or error msg… just gone. When trying to watch the same live show on two different tv’s, it doesn’t work… it only lets one roku view the device at a time… very disappointed. If I dont see some improvements it will be going back to BestBuy. My old Tablo, 4 tuner, is less fancy but works perfectly.

Yes, we’ve been extremely disappointed in the Tablo 4. It has poor reception performance with constant buffering, doesn’t rewind worth a cent, and seems slower to operate/react to user input. Our “old” Dual Lite tuner never had issues such as this over 4+ years, so we’ve quickly pivoted back to using it. With many of the promoted “free” programs found in similar Pluto and Tubi apps, the Tablo 4 has become a waste of money.

Try fire stick instead of Roku. My Roku does the same. With fire stick no issues what so ever. Just a thought. To me Roku is garbage. Switched all 4 of my tvs to fire stick.

Thanks for the recommendation - I’m just talking to my wife about this very thing. Trying to watch TV and the video and audio keeps cutting in and out for 3-4-5 seconds at a time on Roku Ultra 4850X-POS. I’m going to have to bite the bullet on this and try a fire stick on our main TV.
