With guide data being off for many users’ OTA stations, a workaround has been to program the show that’s on at that time, then use extended recording time to make up for it.
Problem is that it will only add up to 3 hours.
I’ve got 4 hour local sports broadcast on in a couple hours and the guide is listing a half hour show in its place. This means I’ll get 3.5 hours, then have to program a second recording for this half-hour remaining.
There are a lot of things you’re working on and I know that manual recordings are not at the top of this list. I also understand that adding too many menu options to scroll through would be a nightmare for programers and users alike. Maybe include a “Custom” option sometime down the road?
