I can see the Conflict indicator in each Library category listing on my Roku app. I selected three shows broadcasting at the same time and the last one generated an error. Going to my LG TV app I see none of the Conflict indicators in the Library as shown by [jschexna]. But going to the Live section the last show selected is highlighted in orange. In the Shows menu the program appears with the usuall ‘rec’ tag but no conflict. If I only used the LG app I would never know there was a conflict as I rarely look at the Live.
Priority is given to what you first selected. In the case of a 2-Tuner Tablo, the first two items set to record at the same time would record. The third would trigger a conflict and not record.
Thank you for the correction.
Might be a 4-tuner Tablo in your future. Not really a “feature”, but 1 possible solution. (I’m impressed you found that many programs worth recording on at the same time!)
@classicrockguy
Is it “classi” “crock” “guy” or “classic” “rock” “guy”??? lol… sorry… couldn’t help myself…
You actually have the best answer of all. Just buy the 4 tuner…
I’ve been called much worse than a classi crock.
Wow, I haven’t seen that old screen format in months… I can see why you’re frustrated…
The screen format that KGBnut shows is the current format, and it’s ~way~ easier to see, find, and resolve conflicts than the older style UI…
So I’ll ask a stupid question, because it’s supposed to happen automatically, but have you gone into the “Settings” and check for a Firmware update?? Because what you have is not right…
The new format is like night and day better than the UI you currently have..
If it can’t be corrected with a Firmware update, I’d have a discussion with Tablo…
You still have to correct conflicts manually, but you see conflicts coming now, and it’s usually not hard to work around them… What you have, is not right…
And KGBnut, I’m both laughing and impressed you record “F Troop”… I grew up watching F Troop as a kid, it just made me smile when I saw that…
That is just a whole lot of awesomeness right there.. You made my evening… ![]()
I love all these retro channels. ![]()

I’m re-watching a bunch of these old shows.
Yes, fully updated.
I’m new. Learning how to look for conflicts.
Wild Wild West, Hogan’s Heros
Many of these shows have been remastered and look way better than they ever did.
Well, not sure what to tell you… The screen you show, is what I used to have originally.. Then an update came along, many, many months ago, and the main screen became what KGBnut now shows… And it is SO much better than what you have.. Not just the “Conflicts” menu, but also the “Coming Soon” menu…
I would be writing Tablo, myself, if I were you.. Something’s wrong here..
What Firmware are you showing?? You should at least be 2.2.54 (soon to be 2.2.56).. If not, that may be the problem..
Otherwise, I have no clue.. Wish I could help..
Thank you. Yes, up to date on firmware.
No doubt I will need to upgrade to the four-tuner model. How long should I wait. New systems soon?
Looking at tomorrow football schedule will have a hard time with only 2.
I still have my old system until early next year and it has no limits. Sweet.
I almost always watch everything recorded.
I like the advantages to skip and replay.
jschexna - can you access your Tablo with any other device besided your Samsung TV? An alternate app may have better representation of conflicts.
Yes, on my phone. I don’t see any conflict indicates there either.
I plan to try my laptop soon.
Also, I did delete the App on the TV and reload. No change.
Your orginal conflicting programs are perhaps long gone. Would it be helpful to select several shows broadcasting at the same time to see if they appear on one of the apps available to you?
I’ve have done that on purpose several times. The conflict message will be announced when attempting to add the third program. I also can scroll around and perhaps see a program unlined in red and therefore in conflict. I am missing the two conflict and failed indicators that other say they see. What is missing is a way to learn that a conflict has occurred and a program missed. Knowing this, I might can see if it is being played again and grab later.
What is really missing is a log file with any difficulties listed. No doubt in my mind that I will go to the four-turner model at some point in the future.
The other dislike for the many issues with recorded playback. No fixed up and down times for rewind and fast forward such as 1 minute forward and 15 secs back. The wait for the video previews to be made. Seems theses could be generated on the fly with a powerful enough unit. In other words, being able to move along the video line and have some confidence as to where you are such as the end of a commercial set.
I disconnected the hard drive and did get a fail error on the recording holder
