In another thread, I have posted about missing program guide information for channel 35 (WHCT - Hartford, CT - Channels 35.1 to 35.9) (“Program not available”). Gracenote problem or?
I have just noticed another problem that may explain some of this: I receive channel 26 (WHPX - Hartford, CT - Channels 26.1 to 26.8). I just noticed that the program guide listing is wrong for most of the channels. Looking further into the issue, I saw that channel 26.1 (ION), is listed in the guide as WYXN-LD1, which is from NY! Channels 27.2 (Bounce) and 27.3 (Court TV), are listed as WCEA-LD2 and WCEA-LD3 from Boston! Channel 27.4 is listed as DEFY, which WWAX switched to ION Plus on 07-01-24. Similarly, channel 26.5 (Busted) is listed as GRIT, and channel 26.6 (GameShowCentral) is listed as MyTV. The remaining two channels, 26.7 (QVC) and 26.8 (HSN) are listed correctly. (When I tune in to these stations, I get the Hartford CT channel 26).
As you can see, the channel 26 group of channels is listed as coming from 3 different DMAs, which is not possible! The Tablo app will only let me change my zipcode to nearby zipcodes, which doesn’t help. Meanwhile, my Amazon Recast (which has a lot of other problems) lists everything correctly in its program guide.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to correct this? I sent a support question to Tablo, but I only got an AI generated answer.
Edit: I just read that WYXN-LD1 is no longer licensed, but formerly operated on virtual channel 26. However, as I posted above, the Tablo has that channel listed as 26.1 in the guide.
