I had seven daily local newscasts schedule to record new. A little different on the weekends, but weekdays is local on one channel at 6am, 11am, 4pm, 5,pm, and 6pm, and national at 5:30 another channel. All disappeared this weekend, except for Fridays (?). On the surface, they all appear to have kept the same name (so not Local News with Lori Smith becoming Local News With Thom Smith).
None of the recording schedule had been touched in months, since’ it’s summer. However, Friday night, local high school football was on a small My Network TV channel (a primary, not a subchannel). I had to expand my guide to show all channels, since it’s normally hidden. The football game was not scheduled. So I set a recording of “chicago fire” at the start time and extended the recording schedule by 3 hours to get my game.
About an hour later, was playing back a recording from a different station, and the Tablo crashed, locked up and required a power cycle reboot. All devices came back up, and the 3 hours extension started back and caught the game correction. It recorded a Friday 10pm newscast correctly. But this week, it started missing the scheduled recordings, and none were showing schedule except for Fridays (again the same name).
Other network TV show recordings show they are still scheduled, but with no recordings upcoming since it’s summer rerun season.
I’m 100% sure the local news station and the national news station had no signal problems this weekend (and while that would mess up recordings, it would not remove them from the schedule.
