Looks like the Antenna Man sold out

The Antenna Man website used to have some great reviews, recommendations and advice on cutting the cord. Now, the only thing I can find on it is a sales pitch for his signal meter (a fairly basic digital TV tuner) and his antenna “consulting” service. I don’t see any way to access his antenna reviews and other articles.

Aren’t they all on youtube where they always have been.

There’s tons of reviews on the YouTube channel linked above.

Well, that’s fine if you want to watch a full video to find a snippet of information, but he used to have a blog with written reviews which were much more concise.

I think he has an Amazon store where you can see his most recommended antennas.

He is monetizing to make a living and pay the bills. Nothing wrong with that and good for him making a living off of dying OTA!

I guess my point was why did he take everything off his website (blogs, written articles, etc). I don’t do YouTube videos!

Here is the store.

Out of curiosity, any particular reason why you don’t use YouTube (i.e. privacy, etc.)?

He probably makes more money from YouTube views.

Precisely.

Thanks, but still his YouTube links rather than his written blog posts.

I wouldn’t think he’d make any money on a blog post unless he had advertisers or sponsors. I think he’s a one-man show so maybe he’s cutting costs and/or streamlining his content.

The man has to eat something. Look at him… Skinny. Poor guy and with a family too. You can’t eat free advice.

Somebody that used his service should send him a few bucks.

His name is Tyler. In PA.
C’mon don’t be a freeloader.

Off topic, but…all I can say is if you’re not ever checking YT, you’re missing out on a GREAT way to learn things, and/or solve issues that you might have around your home or vehicle… Fascinating resource…
Case in point:
Recently had a leaking dishwasher… Water leaking out of the front panel..
So many things to look at, according to searches on the internet, just none that actually worked… Drove me crazy trying to resolve it, and eventually found a YT video that recommended checking the lower spray arm for splitting on the sides of the arm… Sure enough, mine was split…
Instead of spraying water up, it was spraying it horizontally, shooting it directly towards the bottom of the front panel, driving the water in the pan out…
And there’s my “leak”…
$30 later - a used sprayer arm - and one minute’s work - no tools required - it now works perfectly… Never would have even considered that as the problem, until some dude posted it on YT…
You’re short-changing yourself to never use YT… Just sayin’…

YouTube is my go to place for DIY projects, I have fix many things by just watching videos there but some make it look so easy but yeah is very helpful place.
