Live TV channel giving strange error

I have two abc subchannels that give me a ‘storage is full’ error. Mind you, this is live TV, not recorded stuff in my library. In this example, I can get Baltimore’s abc and all their subchannels (bounce, courttv, etc) except for two. This came about when I had a few reception glitches while trying to watch those two channels. Ever since then, the tuner makes no attempt to display them, it simply gives me a storage is full error. How can I fix this?? I did a channel rescan (it was due soon anyhow) and abc and all it’s subchannels were found. However, those two specific ones continue to give me the strange error code Thanks for any help you can provide. John

Is your storage full tho? To pause Live TV it does flow through your hard drive.

No, my storage is 48% full. Besides, why would that only affect 2 channels out of 69? It started with glitchiness from poor reception. That is not an issue now…remember the channels from the same tower were and are unaffected. Once it had trouble tuning in these two subchannels, the Tablo tuner simply quit trying to load thereafter and automatically gives the nonsensical “storage is full” error.

I have seen this issue as well. If you leave it on a live channel all day, this message will eventually show up even though it is not recording the channel. When I try to connect to the same channel on a different streaming device, I get the same error. Only fix is to reboot the Tablo. I am pretty sure this is a bug with live TV pause/rewind and would love an option to just disable live TV pause/rewind when it is not needed.

I’ve seen this, too. It seems it was a glitch and went away.

Same discussion on multiple threads…

In this case ‘storage’ is memory not disk.
